When I set out to write this thing, I had no idea where I was going. To start with, I had very little idea what I should write about. But then it started coming from somewhere and here it is.
When I was first setting up my website, it’s tagline was “Be efficient, not productive.” Later on, I realised pursuing a wider area, becoming better, is much more sensible. The tagline, however, stuck with me ever since. And to this day, I wasn’t sure how to write a post about it, but here it is. A model of efficient work and goal-reaching - I call it The Gradus Model of Efficiency.
It lets you focus on what’s important. Yourself. But at the same time, it allows you to achieve meaningful things. Not for others, but for yourself. It’s not only how much we produce, but it’s also what and how we produce it. It’s not only being productive but also being efficient. And being productive doesn’t necessarily mean being efficient.
